The Barns
The Barns are designed mainly with group gatherings in mind; they can sleep up to 20 people in 10 bedrooms in total, and can also be hired separately to accommodate up to 4, 8, 12, 16 or 20 people.
Matkins has a lovely central living area and large dining table that can be extended to seat up to 16 comfortably. There are also nice living areas in Knob End and Orchard End and there are fully-fitted kitchens in each cottage. All cottages can be joined together through connecting doors, if you’d like. Most bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and there are bath rooms in Knob End and Orchard End.
There are TVs, DVD players and Hi Fi (including docking stations in each cottage). We also have free open access WiFi.
There is plenty of outdoor seating and a barbecue, if you would like to use it. The farm is open access and you are welcome to wander around the woodland field, the wilding ponds, the cottage garden or play games in the open grassland areas.
Please note that we do welcome well-behaved dogs (1 per cottage) and do charge for the additional cleaning required. They must be on a lead at all times outside, are not allowed on any furniture and any mess must be cleaned up.

A 4 bedroom house with a large sitting, dining and kitchen area, with a beautiful dining table. Two bedrooms upstairs are en-suite and downstairs the two bedrooms share a shower wetroom suitable for people who find mobility a problem. Orchard End

A spacious 2 bedroom cottage with one bedroom upstairs (with en-suite bathroom) and one bedroom downstairs (with a wet room which is suitable for people who have mobility issues). We can also provide mobility aids if they are required. It has a large sitting, dining and kitchen area. The lawn looks out over the fields and Ecclesbourne Valley…
